Labor Day Weekend
Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! We decided to paint the front door "New Age Blue"! Bobby did such a great job picking out the color. We went with blue because it would compliment the red brick exterior with our black shutters. But we didn't want to do any regular ol' blue…

Bobby prepped the door and then I painted it. Took some time because the door is a little more intricate.

Kitchen Update
The hardware, farmhouse sink and the flooring is in! All that is left is the countertop, backsplash and then we are DONE. We looked at slabs of quartz this past weekend since our original pick is still on back order. They are going to come out this week to measure and then install next week!!! Things tend to work themselves out because I ended up loving the second choice over our original pick. The backsplash will be a classic white subway tile with dark gray grout.
HARDWARE
With stainless steal appliances, I wasn't afraid to do bonze/brass fixtures in the kitchen. It brings some warmth to the space. The last thing I wanted was a "cookie cutter" kitchen. We really wanted this custom kitchen to be eclectic. We can't wait to see it all come together. More to come!
